Eradication of Child Rights

Eradication of Child Rights is a grave violation of human dignity and global progress. Every child deserves to live in a world where their rights are protected and nurtured. However, millions of children worldwide suffer from exploitation, abuse, neglect, and lack of access to education and healthcare. This violation not only robs them of their childhood but also undermines their potential to contribute to society. NGOs dedicated to the cause of children's rights play a vital role in advocating, protecting, and ensuring the fulfillment of these rights. Through awareness campaigns, legal interventions, and community empowerment initiatives, these organizations strive to eradicate the systemic barriers that deny children their fundamental rights. Together, we must stand against the eradication of child rights and work tirelessly to create a world where every child can thrive and fulfill their dreams.

Children Education

SEED, a non-governmental organization, has been instrumental in eradicating child labor and providing quality education and nutrition to children since its inception. The organization offers merit scholarships to top 10 class students at the mandal and school levels, encouraging economically disadvantaged students through individual and board donations. SEED's leadership has extensive experience in eradicating child labor, and the organization has conducted workshops on child rights issues at the mandal and district levels. SEED also conducts gender sensitization programs, providing equal wages in projects like the Watershed Development Project and Tribal Development projects, and extending livelihood opportunities to women through various enterprise programs. The organization ensures women's representation on board and empowers them to participate in local governance bodies as per reservation quotas.

In 2011, SEED conducted the National Environment Awareness Campaign in Hayat Nagar and Vanasthali Puram areas in Rangareddy district. From 2019 to 2022, SEED conducted the National Hydrology Awareness program in Vikarabad, Rangareddy, and Medchal districts, facilitating the gathering of relevant line departments to inform them about the groundwater scenario in Telangana and India, particularly in drought-prone areas. The program raised awareness about the consequences of over-exploitation of groundwater and promoted conservation methods and efficient water usage. This led to more proactive farmers adopting conservation methods, leading to increased income.

SEED conducts gender sensitization programs across all implemented projects and programs. As part of this effort, equal wages are provided to women in projects such as the Watershed Development Project and Tribal Development projects. Additionally, livelihood opportunities are extended to women through various enterprise programs. In the FPO project, SEED ensures representation of women on the board in accordance with reservation policies. Under the umbrella of women's rights, SEED NGO empowers women to participate in local governance bodies as per reservation quotas. Furthermore, discussions on the Domestic Violence Act and other relevant legislation are integrated into all our projects. As a result, women celebrate International Women's Day, where they engage in discussions about their rights and empowerment. Consequently, women in our operational areas occupy seats in local bodies as sarpanches, MPTCs, and ZPTCs.

NEAC Awareness Campaign With the support of the Ministry of Environment, SEED conducted the NEAC (National Environment Awareness Campaign) awareness campaign in Hayat Nagar and Vanasthali puram areas in Rangareddy district in 2011.
